Mine on my Ranger is mounted on one of transom braces. I have seen most the bilige of boats. They are not real hard to install. I would just make sure it will be pretty easy to get to for replacement, and I would put it near a place you will be putting things in and out so it doesn't get hit by something. There are a couple of trackers on page 1 or 2 maybe 3 by now on the main forum with some good pics of their seperators. Check them out...sorry I don't have any pics. If you have any questions please ask. What kind of boat is it going on??
Thanks for the reply! Going on a Tracker 185. The easy to get to part is the problem. They sure pack everything in these Trackers not leaving much room to mount anything additional!
heres mine, quick and easy install

It is crowded below deck so I installed the separator in the splash well where it is easy to get to.
That's what I was looking for. ????What are the connectors that I will need to hook this thing up with, and where might I purchase them. Kit came with the mounting bracket and filter.
I used two 3/8 x 3/8 barbed connections

Add two small hose clamps, two screws for mounting, and some teflon tape.
All this can be picked up at the hardware store. Got mine at Ace :)
All of this is starting to make sense. I really do appreciate the help!!
PanMan--Where did you get that mounting piece? Make it? I'm going to have to raise my mount up some.
