Looks like a great day to me. Mallards and woodies are fine eatin'. Mergansers however are nasty... yuk!

LOL thought about gettin into the jigs but i have to earn crappie badge first or is it merit? LOL never the less i have a long ways to go before i start making my own baits. Good idea though. Im just glad the day didnt go south like the crappie fishing did. Oh yeah megansers arent that good but if you breast em and marinade them right they will make good for gumbo
