I have caught many, many young, healthy crappie this year in the range of 9-10 inches, more so than any year in the last ten. Saturday(june4), I fished for four hours, pulling jigs and mnnows along a breakline in 16ft. of water. I must of caught a 100 crappie of which only fifteen were keepers(all between 10-14inches), the remainder were all football chunks of 9-93/4inches. The next two or three years should be fun!!
