Uncle willed me his fly box.

I recieved it from UPS today.
It's an old sewing basket.
Crammed full of Feathers, several spools of thead, tools, a vise, some old coins(?) a book on tying, and about 12 boxes of Mustad hooks in varying sizes. Mostly Trout hooks in size 6 to 10.

I went through it tonite. I can see that I'm gonna need one of those magnifying lamps or the Glasses.
The Cat helped me. He was sure there had to be a bird somewhere in there with all those feathers.

Unc's eyes got so bad he cant tie any more. He hasnt fished or been to his cabin in a long time. He's almost 93 now. I wish I could be up there to take him fishing again.
Talking to him on the internet one day, I offered to buy that stuff from him. His wife said he jumped up and put it all in a box and down to the UPS store he went.:rolleyes:

So now I'm gonna start this fly tying.
I'm getting closer to tying my 'silly shiner' idea. We'll see....:p
