Rod storage ideas?
What do ya'll do with your trolling rods when you're running from place to place?
I hate breaking down rods, but currently don't have any place to put them, but in the floor and down the side of the passenger seat. Makes for a tangled little mess when I get where I'm going. Put 'em back in the same place for the ride home.
Just thought I'd see what everyone else does and hopefully get a couple a pics.
Thanks.

Rod Storage
If you have rod holders such as Driftmasters you can use the Driftmaster Rod Rester. As a guide, all of my rod holders have rod resters on them for moving from one spot to another. You may purchase and view them from my website Extreme Fishing Concepts Driftmaster rod holders , Santee rod holders , Joy Fish cast nets and Redi Rig Floats

I had the same problem with my 11 foot BnM's when moving from one spot to another. Here's what I came up with out of some old PVC.

Another thing that I've learned to do, if I do lay them together, is after I put the hook or jig on the keeper by the handle is to pull the line away from the pole and twist the rod three times. This will keep the tips from getting hung in each other so bad. Just grab the line and reverse your twists to fish.:)

These are the rod holders I use for travel on the lake. When I travel on land, I still have to break the rods down. The pvc on the sides are 2" which is too big, (ok for bait casters) the rods move too much in the wind. The rod holder in the center is 1 1/4" which works much better for spinning rods. It has room for pliers, hook remover, etc. Inexpensive also.
