I just saw these rods listed at BNM at 28' and 29' in 2 sections. It seems like these are listed for heavy weight trolling? Im wondering how heavy they are, and how they would be for dipping?

I have a telescopic, not sure of the length either 18 or 28 but its heavy and unwielding. I was guessing that these would be lighter not being over an inch in diam. I like weird stuff:D.
I think that's alittle typing error.Looks like they have a 8 footer 2 piece and a 9 foot 2 piece. They talk about vertical jigging in tight pieces.Could you imagine trying to store a 2 piece 28 footer.WOW lol PJ.
Man I sure would hate to find a spot for a 2 piece rod that is still 14ft and 14 1/2 ft after being broken down. I have seen him fishing. And most of his rods are way shorter then that. LOL

I entered one in cart to see the item number, it ends in 082, which wold normally mean 8' 2 piece. So i guess its a typo.
I have fished with the Gants and I can assure they don't have 28ft poles in the boat. Eight footer would be about right with the way they side pull.
BnM Pro Staffs are now available in 18 and 20 ft models. I have not ordered any yet. I will; however. I will fish the 18 and 20 from the back of the Triton. Mrs Monk will not use the longer poles. She has a problem with the 16 footers.
