I am going to be putting some holders in the back of the boat and was wondering what some of you guys have done for this purpose. I will be using them for slow trolling and pulling cranks.

or something along the line of spider rigging setup, but I have these with additional bases on the back deck of my '02 tracker and they work great.

What brand of seat is that on your boat Yikess? Looks comfortable.
don't know what kind of seat posts that you have but i tok my seat off the post (it pulls right up) then i bought me a peice of 1.5 inch angle iron and put some holders on it and put a 8 inch bolt through the middle and wrapped it with tape till it fit snug down in pole only thing is that you wouldm lose a top seat . but i do alot of fishing by myself so no loss for me really cheap and easy really if you don't want to drill your boat .
just my 2 cents

I have a Aluminum Jet Boat 24 foot Long with 18 Aluminum Rod Holders. I troll for Salmon, Steelhead, Trout, Kokanee and drift fish for Halibut. I don't troll for crappie. I park and Jig fish with a slow retrieve and sometimes light jerks. Crappie fishing is still good here in Idaho. Were still catching Ice chest full of crappie. There a little deeper now that the water temperture has gotten warm. Twelve to 20 ft. water depth. Still having a blast. Tipping jigs with crappie niblets in white.
