Fished Wedowee on Sunday. We started the morning off trolling and caught about 20 in the first 45 min. However, not a single fish was a keeper. Did a mix of dock shooting and trolling the rest of the day. Caught at least 100 but only 37 keepers.

A consistent bite is worth the throw backs, sometimes, unless they are bait stealers.
i've heard tales about the elusive pomoxis buster and his masterfull skills in the art of dockshooting but figured you would have ichthyoprobed up larger slabs than that. i've heard some folks up your way use small crappie for flathead bait and was wondering if there was any truth to that?
