Sounds like a steal. Can't go wrong with a Ranger.
ranger is a great choice
Jump on it. You will love the ride and the resale value is good on Ranger boats. Mine is 21 years old, looks like crap but fishes and rides great....Dennis
Mine is a '87 357V, old and warn but still orginial finish, runs great and still fishes great
it's a 16 ft boat and has got a 90 on it. the nada is from $7530-$8560.
i liked the setup a lot. i'm just wondering if i'll regret buying something this small.
I have a 1987 Ranger 680t,owned it for about 19 years never regreted it one time. Rides real smooth quit and lots of room, go for it you can't go wrong, mine has a 50hp also a 9.9 both Johnsons, the 50hp came with the boat still runs great. JimAttachment 17857
I got mine when I was married the my first wife. I am now on the third wife and still have the same boat, go figure.
If I ever buy a fiberglass boat it will deflnitely be a Ranger. I have rode in a lot of boats and Ranger's are hard to beat for a smooth ride and quality.
AJ,
There is a difference in the R61 and the 680 when it comes to space. The R61 has more deck space and the 680 has more floor space. Coming from someone that crappie fishes 90% of the time and has owned a 17' Stratos, similar to the R61 (now own a Ranger 620 and love it), I do not think it will have the room you are looking for. I made due with the Stratos for a couple years (saying choice words everytime I went out. Just my .02.
