Quail at the Farm Today

I was going to the farm this afternoon when I saw these quail so I figured I would shoot them with the Sony Camera lol.

Good pictures of a nice covey of quail.

They say thats good eating.I have never bird hunted tho.Very pretty birds for sure.

in the first picture, is that someone in the upper left corner? kinda weird looking, the sticks and such making it look that way

That is a nice covey of quail, Now ya got me thinking of fall all ready.

That's cool. We had quail around here when i was younger, but now they're gone. Not sure why.

Fire Ants will kill the quail population quicker than anything. They get to the eggs and the nest as well as the baby chicks.
