Need Info On L. Conroe & L. Houston

I live in Cali and am planning to visit my father and to fish these lakes in the upcoming weeks. (Not sure of exact dates yet) Can someone tell me if the fish have started spawning yet and if not when it might be, also need info on a good guide. Thanks

I live about a mile from Lake Houston, but leave my boat at Toledo Bend so I haven't fished it in years. The Bass are about done on T-Bend, so I would assume they would be on Houston and Conroe too. I have a Neighbor who was catching crappie on Houston last week, and I have been catching them for the last month on T-Bend.

Crappie are still going strong on both Lake Houston and Conroe in about 1-3' of water around any type of brush or stickups. Good luck!!

Thanks for the reply. Butch Terpe is booked solid & Debbie doesn't/hasn't return emails & her phone # doesn't work, sounds like a fax machine.
