Met Ray at Mansard Island, KY Lake today. Fish report.

Ray and family made it to Mansard Island yesterday. I drove up to meet them and pick up the boat for the robot fisher this afternoon. What a bunch of fine fellows. They had been out fishing, but had very little luck. I heard the big one got away story...lol....They were fishing Sulphur Creek (shallows) trying to stay out of high winds. They reported seeing fish, but not biting. Not suprising to here this as the water has risen rapidly on KY Lake, and is now falling. This has the fishes somewhat confused I think. I gave them a few pointers about the area (and a few waypoints). Also suggested that they invest in Ky Hydrographics side scan maps and really get in the fish (a plug for Pat Hahs). I would suggest getting these maps to anyone who is coming to fish this area that is not intending to use a guide. If you need a guide, call Richard Williams (a plug for Richard). By the way, did you get your boat fixed Richard? I heard the story...lol
