Never used the float but i have a couple of the releasers. There was a walleye tourney on Mosquito lake in ohio about 6 or so years ago, and these guys asked me to give these new releases a try. Gave me 3 for $5. I gave them a good work out and they did work well but they would slide all the way down my line and knock the fish loose quite often. I never figured out how to stop it from doing that. Even tried putting a splitshot up from my bait and it didnt help,so i shelved em. They did get my baits down in the strike zone tho. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

did you bing every fish you hooked in befor . maby they just wernt hooked good anyway.
