Okay after tying some bucktail jigs I can see the point of using jigheads with a larger hook. The jigs look good but appear like short-striking may be a problem as the bucktail body extends to over double the length of the hook. Ever have a problem with crappie short-striking?
Short striking??? Ever seen the mouth of a 1.5 to 2 pound crappie? He wouldnt have a problem eating a good sized bucktail jig. Of course, It might be different up north where its colder. I live in Georgia, and I have a problem with them swallowing them.Quote:
