What is the best melter for making jigs?
I like Lee Precision melters. I've used the Lee Production Pot IV with great success. The pots that have handles and pour down are much better than the type you use ladles with IMO. It's hard to get good even pours with the ladle style melters.

Hey crappielimit, I have been looking for a lee pot and I think you can buy one just as cheap from do-it mold. I have been watching ebay and they give more for one than you can buy one new. I guess they think there getting a deal.
Lee pot is the best for the money IMO easy to pour and not that expensive. Check Cabelas or Midway in their reloading sections they usually have them.
Unless you are going into mass production this is all you need. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...=SearchResults
