name stuck in chattroom

when i try to log in to chattroom it is telling me someone is in there with my username.I guess i must of forgot to log out last night.can someone see if my name is in there or tell me how to get back in.

Told me to use differnt name like flopeye1,havent tried yet.

yep see you in there,cant figure a way to kick u out yet,Will keep trying.I dont like Java based chat lines.I use mIRC chat everywhere esle,maybe we need to upgrade this room

i would probably have to register under a different name. thanks for getting back to me on that flopeye.

but, if you don't log out with the red bar (Log off Cleanly), you can't re-enter the chat room until Ed clears out the "squatter ID's".

Read the sticky post, about the "New Chatroom", for clear instructions.

The old chatroom allowed everyone in/out a lot easier than this one does, BUT it also allowed anyone to use ANY name/ID to access it. This allowed people to troll/flame under other members names, and caused a lot of problems. This system doesn't allow you to choose a name or use another person's identity ... it automatically uses your user ID. NOW, no one can post on the chat with someone else's ID, or with an unknown identity. The price for this protection .... you MUST use the Red Bar to log off cleanly, so you can return at a later time.

There's no need to re-register under another name .... just wait until Ed clears the Lounge.
