Looks good. For crappie, I'd go with solid white or chartreuse. For other species, I like solid black or olive.
I have a good bit of Saddle Hackle, but I have ordered 3 Woolly Bugger Saddles in Black, Brown & Olive. Looking forward to making lots of colors with these. All of these 3 are for size 6-10 so I am pretty excited about them. Not cheap, but I guess they will make lots of buggers, LOL!Quote:

Nice looking bugger! Whats nice about woolly buggers is that its hard to fish them wrong.

Dunno if you want suggestions or not, but one of my favorite jigs is a woolly bugger tied on a jig instead of a fly hook.
