slow for me on wylie last night

the bite was slow last night. we picked up three really nice fish as soon as we anchored and it fizzled after that, with only one more crappie, one bass and two catfish caught, all of em caught early, right after settin up. we got setup late, about ninethirty or so and fished till about a quarter of one. i talked to two other guys that was anchored in the same area we was and they said they caught ten right off the bat and nothing since. had a first timer with me last night and he caught two of the slabs so he wasnt disapointed. there was a lot of crappie fishermen out last night, and im wondering how they done. all the water last week must be having an effect on em right now, or it may be time for a location change.
