Does anyone know of a trolling motor that exists that's bow-mount but is NOT steered by a foot pedal or any of the other steering devices? I'm wanting to find a bow-mount trolling motor that's steered by the handle only.
Thanks!

Your looking for a bow mount trolling motor with a tiller. I know this one is a saltwater version, but this is the one I'm currently using - http://www.minnkotamotors.com/produc...bm_riptidesm3x You many be able to do a web search for a freshwater version with a tiller instead of the foot pedal.
Try posting this thread on the "fishing electronics and trolling motor board". I bet they can give some good info.

Hmm, that's a new one to me. I had the "Main" forum bookmarked. My apologies.Quote:

MotorGuide makes one too! I recently bought one for my boat. Alas, I'm at work right now and can't remember the model number.
I took an old mount and a m/k endura 50 to the machine shop and had them make to teflon rings so the shaft would fit securely and there you go. tyhe machine shop charged me bout 10 bucks if i remember correctly
