I have one small one that I sometimes use inside the boat to see (is light weight and plastic), but I wouldn't use it for in the water fishing as I have better ones for that. I have a couple of the Aurora Green Lights (small and bright and just about indestructible)and I also have a 36" Fisherman's green Light (glass tube) that came weighted and good quality. I have used both together and both by them selves and both work just fine. Last trip out I used the suction cups that some with it to stick it to the side of my boat under water.
I have used several white lights too and the Optronics underwater fishing light was the worst money I ever spent on a light. I would use their floating light before I would buy the underwater one again.
Brinkmann Q-Beam Starfire II Underwater Fishing Light works well, but they seem to break or leak pretty easy.
I've got one that I've had in the boat for a couple of years. It still works fine. Pulls in alot of bait fish.
I have 2 that I have had for 2 years and still work great.
I like it much. I haven't complained about it yet:)
