Hey all,
What could be causing these lines? This is a gen4 helix 12. It started doing this some last year but has gotten worse. It is more prevalent in shallow water. Thanks for looking.

Looks like interference from another sonar.
I have the helix 12 and two helix 7's all linked together. The only transducer being used is the one from the helix 12.
Did it start when you linked them together or is this new after being linked for some time?
Consider trying this. This may be an issue or your transducer running to shallow and air getting under your transducer. Try it when running your boat faster in open water which should push the transom down deeper in the water, if the lines go away you will need to reposition (lower) your transducer. If you switched from lead acid batteries to lithiums that alone would reduce the weight significantly….just throwing it out there in case you did.
It got worse when I linked a 7 to the bow. I did switch to Lithiums last year. I will try your suggestion. Thank you!
Have you verified that this is not caused by trolling motor electrical interference ... ??

I'm going to go out on the water tomorrow and do some troubleshooting. I will look into all the above suggestions. Thanks!
