So my question I'm needing the answer to. I have a 24v troller on their own batteries, and another battery for other things. Well, I bought a 3 bank charger. So my question: my "other battery" is obviously one bank, but how do I hook up the two equalling 24v for the troller? Do I just connect them like I would normally, or do I need to do it differently, considering they are wired for the 24v?
I hope this makes sense.....
Each battery gets a positive and lead from the charger
Hook them up normally to each battery from charger.

Three bank charger has three sets of leads. Sometimes one is longer than the two others. I’ve been told that the longer one goes to the start and the other two for the troller. I think it's to help position the charger closer to the two trollers. I’ve also been told not to extend the wires too far. Like don’t put the charger in the back and the two trolling batteries up front. You get the idea. One set of leads for each battery.
Make sure you have a cutoff switch from the trolling motor battery to the troller as you could damage the circuit board in TM if you try to charge it while connected.
Cutoff needs to be close to the battery as possible.

The newer trolling motors have a lot of electronics in them today. It’s a good idea to have a switch or switchable breaker in line with the motor. If you have a plug on your motor you can also just unplug it. This can prevent voltage spikes from the charger damaging circuit boards on the trolling motors.
It’s a good idea to have a switch to kill power to your graphs too.
