Good idea
To all new members this is a MUST BE AT event for you. Will get to meet the members you see posting on here and there are quite a few characters and some truly great fishermen to talk with. But most importantly you will realize what a great organization you are part of with some really wonderful folks. Bring your spouse too as the ladies are just as much part of CDC and many are good fisherfolk as well.
BTW the food is always wonderful but sharing laughs with the members is great.
For those who have never been to Truman lake? it is a GREAT crappie lake and we have caught the spawn a time or two there and had just spectacular fishing.
Once you go you won't want to miss it again. It is always a wonderful event.

I just got a message from grizwilson. He is bringing his cooker for fish. It cooks faster but needs 4 gallons of oil
