Bucky75, Shelbyville is an incredible crappie fishery. Crappie will bite all year, even when there is ice. In my experience, the end of April should bring water temps in the high 50's and the crappie relating to structure in the coves and on points. They wont be right up on the banks yet, but they will be starting to move shallow. Just keep moving and cover as much water as you can until you find what they are relating to and adjust accordingly. I would start in 12' or less and just keep moving shallower until you find them. That lake is so full of crappie, you will eventually find them. Good luck.
Anyweather I hope I can find them. I have located the gps of some of the structure that has been put out and have added them to system. Hopefully with the help of my Livescope I will zero in on a few of them so my father and I can get some decent ones
Typically the first week of May they're spawning.
Who knows though. We've had warm weather here the last two weeks. Water may warm sooner and you might catch the spawn.

Thanks for posting this, bassman. I was going to find this and bookmark it closer to spawn, but you saved me some time.

Bassman Thank you I had found this just wish it was the most up to date crib placements.
Chip’s bait shop south of Sullivan sells a book that contains the coordinates and maps of the man made structures in the lake. They were selling a sim card that contained all the coordinates, just plug-n-play!

I will look into this as I will be staying close to chips when I go
Thank you
