Well thank the lord they arent more aggressive than they are.
There are very few days that i dont encounter 6 or 8 at very close distances from my jon boat.
And since Oct. 22 when i started back after the summer layoff, there has been 30 days spent on the water.
The only days i dont see them are the cooler ones where i guess they lay up someplace back in the bushes.
And there are many more than i see, based upon the grunts i hear.
My only concern is that due to my now advanced age, and limited physical ability, that i stay in the boat and not fall out, even though i always wear an inflatable life vest.
I never stand up while fishing anymore for that very reason.
There are many places i would love to fish that i cant, even with my smaller boat that requires very little as for a ramp.
But im beyond the kayak age as for ability, and i know a few others who are becoming very concerned about it as well.
One of them recently flipped his kayak, and he couldnt get back into it.
Fortunately he was able to push it into the shore without any issues, where he was able to get back into it.
But there are vast vast areas near here that are off limits to all, except a very few having both the desire and ability.
Some of us get to scratch upon the surface a bit, so long as you can get along with all the gators. lol
I know that's right = a Club sandwich, better yet make it a Club MANwich! [emoji482][emoji23]
