Low Water, S-L-O-W Fishing!
Our lake level is down about 6 feet from full pond and the water temperature is around 66F. The fishing has been TERRIBLY slow for weeks. We can find a few fish from time to time, but getting them to hit is tough. We have most of our luck either casting and counting down to where the fish are, usually around 18 feet deep, or else fishing around and under docks. There is a log of "stick ups" in the water, flooded trees that are usually under water, but fishing around them hasn't yielded much results. I will take all the suggestions I can get about jig patterns, colors, tactics, places to try, etc. HELP!!!
