Take a look at this. From what I have read you ARE NOT required to have a basic hunting ot fishing permit HOWEVER you ARE REQUIRED to have a MIGRATORY BIRDS HUNTING PERMIT to legally hunt Doves.

BuckeyeCrappie is correct! Also if you trout fish you need a trout permit or for the trout parks a daily tag. Must also buy deer and turkey permits.
That is one reason I bought the lifetime licence when I turned 60. One of the things that comes with it is the migratory permit.
