Hello from Shakey Dave
Hello everyone and thanks for having me aboard. I was born and raised in East Texas but I have lived in the Baton Rouge LA area for the past 36 years. I am 65 and searching earnestly for that elusive finish line. I grew up fishing out of the back of my dad's 14-foot Monark back when Toledo, Rayburn, and Livingston all still had green, standing timber. I have been a lurker for about a year now and have come to really enjoy posts that many of you write. I have been out of fishing long enough that reading posts here make me feel a bit like Rip Van Winkle and I am beginning to think that most of my lures should be taken out of my tackle box and put in a shadow box. My screen name comes from my profession, I am sort of like a health care worker but for machines instead of people. Most running machinery vibrates; I can record the vibration with a computer and separate the frequencies to determine what is wrong and how long before I think it will crash. I have lots of questions to post in the near future and hopefully, all ya'll can help drag me out of the stone age.
Thanks again for having me,
Shakey Dave

Welcome aboard from East Tennessee. Very interesting job. Vibration analysis is a good tool to have for machinery maintenance
