Thinking about a trip to John Hay Lake. Anyone been there lately? It’s been probably close to 30 years since I’ve been there. Not sure what’s in the lake. Used to be good bluegill and redear fishing.

Thinking about a trip to John Hay Lake. Anyone been there lately? It’s been probably close to 30 years since I’ve been there. Not sure what’s in the lake. Used to be good bluegill and redear fishing.
After 2 tries my wife and I found it last summer. We had read about it having some good fishing. We are bank fishers and couldn't find a spot that looked like we could easily access so we didn't get to give it a try.
Looks like a good spot if you have a boat.
