Downsville dam/ pepacton resivoir

heard alot about this Pecpacton reservoir, might take a day trip there with my wife and 2 dogs, going to stop at Al's bait shop, then going to try shore fishing for a few hours, can anyone who fishes there suggest some good shore fishing area's we like fishing for crappie mainly and some bass.

You ever get up and fish the Reservoirs, my dad lives in Walton right inbetween the 2. I haven't had a chance to fish it yet but hear there's nice crappie and trout.
