Sharing the wealth
With everything going on remember your local first responders . I had a limit of Crappie I had filleted in the refrigerator . We have a fire station within sight of our home . I drove up and gave them to our local fire fighters . They were pleased and thanked me . Said there were only 3 men there at a time but they can freeze the extras .:fish

Good on you. It is a gesture we should all do more often

My wife is a first responder. If you could bring them some I could go eat with her. Lol. Kidding. That is an awesome gesture. They are truly taken for granted a lot and I’m sure they truly appreciated it.

Wonderful! Good stories like this is what we need more of. Especially in the media and news.

Great job! They deserve it. I have been volunteering at our church’s food pantry/clothes closet for more than ten years. When a holiday falls on Monday we are not open, but I still have to pick our bakery donations. There are almost always a quite a few pies at these times. Since a lot of our first responders (firefighters, police, etc.) have to work during such times, I make numerous stops at stations in our county to show support and share pies, as well as a variety of other sweets to them. They are usually quite surprised and grateful.
