I need a few more
Last weekend and this weekend I’ve fished both days and got the crappie figured out. As with most crappie trips, some good gills show up. A few of the crappie stand out in my memory but the good gills are the first ones to pop up. I’ve even lost a few at boatside that I really enjoyed. All are 8” or better but none have crossed the 10” mark. I think next weekend I have to go seek a few more per trip and maybe schedule a taco dinner. In the tight quarters I get them in and the loose drag I have to use the fight is just off the charts. I’ll keep you posted. Aside from the two I had come unbuttoned today, this was the star of the show. Thanks for taking the time to visit with me today, hope to see you soon...... Skeet

A beautiful fish and the fight sounded great. I love it when they go a little nuts. Some don’t but most do! Thanks for the story!
