I hate to hear that. What pound test line were you using? I would contact Chris at Finesse Fishing about a replacement top.

Ouch, hope you can get it replaced. The ABU 6.10L spanked a big carp the other evening…..after I chased him down with the trolling motor.

I think it was my fault. I accidentally stepped on the very same area it broke last week while bank fishing on rip-rap. I was astounded that it didn't break at the time. It appeared to have held up and I landed a few fish on it since.Quote:
