got on the water at 9:15 off at 12, caught 23 crappie all released, water temp 58-60 deg. Most fish caught 4-10 ft deep on 1/64oz and 1/32 oz jig with chart bodies.Slow rolling jig, slower the better.

Very nice!
Good job Dean! My brother and I fished Saturday 4/17 from 9 to 5, at Pike Lake in Warsaw. Used jigs and cranks for crappie from 5' to 20'. Nothing. Switched to crawler harnesses for walleye, same result - 0. Only saw 1 small silver bass caught all day and we talked to several boats who were having same results, nada. Water temp to start was 53.8 and ended at 55.5. First trip out in the boat this year and everything worked great. I should have gone out last month, so my first trip jinx no fish catchin was out of the way. Glad you got to feel some thumps. Was going to go to Morse Res on Thursday, but after seeing the forecast for Tues/Wed decided to wait a few more days.
