From my understanding it’s the silver crinkle powder paint on top of the colors. I have some and was going to experiment with that myself whenever I had time. Not sure if first coat needs to be cured first or just double dipped then cured. :dono
That’s pretty popular right now online on the hand tied crappie jigs.
I have all four crinkle colors. Will try to get to a video tomorrow night or Saturday morning on how to do it.
I have the silver, gold is somewhere in shipping currently. Wanted June bug and red and added gold crinkle earlier this week.
Looks great, never heard of it before now but I'm going to check it out. Wonder how it looks under UV light.
Do you buy it by the pound? Where did you get it from? Looking forward to finding out how it's done. If it's sold by the pound I'd like to buy a couple ounces of each color to see how I like it if someone is willing to sell some or trade.
It’s protec paint. TJ’s Tackle sells it.

Bob some guys are making their own paint, don't know or understand how or what. Will send you a link later to what he does. I do know he charges a lot for each jig though.

Pretty much you 1st put what ever color you want to show through be it one, two, three colors and then dip in crinkle paint then heat again. I knew I should done video last night. Funny how thread popped up asking about it. I’ll definitely get one up.
What I’m interested in is that chenille. Guess there are some new colors out or that one has been out and I didn’t realize it.
