Charlie Brewer Bait ONLY Tournament
MTCC held a Thank You tournament in honor of Charlie Brewer Slider Company who has been so good to us over the years. This tournament was special as members and guest were both invited to fish with no entry fee but you had to use ONLY Charlie Brewer Slider Co baits. We fished at Tim's Ford lake last Sat March 6th 2021. We had 12 boats fish this tournament. Was a cold start had a cold front come through and most found the fishing to be tough but a few teams prevailed anyway catching some very nice stringers and slabs. Joey Davis won the tournament with a fish limit of 10.31 pounds and also a nice 2.54 big fish. This stringer and big fish are both March club records and we know they were caught on CBSC bait too. Taking 2nd was Jamie & Roger Johnson with 8.49 pounds. They also had a 1.99 kicker fish I wanted to mention and we know they also caught on CBSC bait. Lastly taking 3rd place was newcomer to MTCC Todd Bell with 7.76 stringer. He also caught all his fish on CBSC Bait as did all teams who fished. MTCC will be fishing on Tims Ford again March 20th. This kicks off our new points season in 2021. We will have a meeting on March 18th at Skips Grill in Winchester if you would like to come check out MTCC and fish with us next season.
