Once saw a weather man in Huntsville, Al scrape snow with his shoe and call it significant accumulation. The snow was so thin that you could see the pavement thru the show.
I tell you, Los Vegas would go dead broke if they had to rely on the weatherman to predict things.
A road grader is an Alabama snow plow. I lived just east of Huntsville. We got about 6 inches of snow. On my way home from work that morning I saw sparks flying up ahead . When it passed inbthe other lane it was a road grader, reflectors were flying everywhere. It left a skim of snow to turn to ice and make a mess.
