The lake hatchineha campground is really nice. It don’t pop up on google searches but campground finder app found it. Wife was supposed to be in a triathlon that got canceled two weeks back that why we picked this area
Only five campsites here an a couple cabins. A boat ramp on site and dock space and an ice machine to save daily trips to town. We are 11 miles from nearest gas station
as for the fishing it might have been best crappie fishing I’ve had after no bites in a canal system I went to gator cove from a tip from this site got 16 keeper in a hour 10” to 12” all released. A few shorts too. Was long lining 2” hot grubs on 16th jigs at .8 In 8ft to 9ft. Had eight rods. The inside 5 footers were only 20 feet out and might have been most productive rods. Pink and white tails with lead heads other bright colors did good but the pink were it
