The excitement on my parents faces when they would wrap me up like a Christmas present, bow and all, then place me on some unsuspecting neighbors doorstep. Then only to see, year after year, the sadness and disappointment in their faces when I was brought back.

My favorite Christmas was when all my brothers and sisters and I were all small at home. Times were hard back then and we had to share everything. Sometimes I wish I could relive some of those Christmas times when life was so simple but it's not to be as two brothers and one sister have long past. But I still have the memories and always will.

I have many great memories but my favorite were when I was young. I would sit on the stairs leading Dow to the living room where the tree was hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa. Like others we didn’t have much but Mom and Dad made sure me and my sisters Christmases were so special.
