And if so, my advice is don't bother. All that hardware isn't necessary.
Yes that is exactly what I'm referring to.
I've never used them for crappie, but I use them for bottom fish. I'll use them in Coos Bay on the Oregone coast. I'll put a gulp minnow or half gulp sand worm on each hook. 1 to 4 ounces of lead on the bottom depending on the tide. Most of the rock fish will be blacks around 2 pounds. A real good one will be 4 to 5 pounds.Attachment 389121 A couple years ago my hooked a halibut on one, had it on for a few runs before it snapped off.
On occasion I have found these really cheap in price . They will hold a minnow and will work .
