TRICK OR TREAT AT LOWES

I thought about saying in a foreign land but that would not be the Case --- the LOWES was in Laffiette -- a rocks throw from where all my fathers relatives were raised.. Relatives that called me a Yankee because I lived North of Allex -- but that did not matter... As a young man visiting a very small town all the girls came out of the woodwork -- My brother said I was fresh Meat -- cause I was not a family member... Arkansas - the Land of Oppertunity ??? South Louisiana was and Is, different .. When you are Accepted most times it goes far beyond friendship and TRUST.
With Dixie asleep and in Fishervet operating room, I wanted a bag of salt -- the Deer wanted it more than corn. Finding it was like an Easter Egg Hunt. When I got to the Register I had the one thing, but, I let the Three men with a float loaded with supplies check out first,, these Men had work to do. With only One Isle open the Man that had got in line behind me,, had his arms loaded with a few things -- No Shopping cart ... I told him I wanted him to go to the Register before me ,, He objected at first. When I told him I HAVE NOTHING BUT TIME -- I lived above Ruston and had brought my Dauchshund for Surgery at Guidrey Animal Hospital and would be in the Operating room till close to noon or later before we could go home,, I had nothing but time.. He said it aint even EIGHT YET - How far you come ?? 195 miles -- Then a manager opened another line, and he checked out. When I got to the Register the Manager said -- He paid for your Salt -- have a good day There are so many times the Good People of Louisiana show they are Family down here

Thanks for asking ''D" -- I took her back this morning to get the stitches out. She is very smart -- in three trips she knows exactly where we are -- she told me to stop when we got to Winfield.. She hates to get her feet wet-- I picked the perfect spot for her big business .. all the samples were great with no cancer. Tal said none of your dogs have Fleas -- what do you use ??? Nothing -- I got rid of the flea bit Cat... The last time after her Rabies shot I stopped in Winfield at Burger King -- Today when we got to Winfield she pulled the string in her leash tight to reach me with that tongue loaded with Sugar almost a mile before Burger King .. A happy girl with a Cow Butt Patty -- When I would not let her have a French Fry -- she said FINE - then laid on my Thermos of Coffee... I Have Two old Couch Cushions on the seat where they can see and makes for good Road trips

There are still a lot of nice people in the world.
It seems you have more luck seeing them, than hearing about them on the news.
