Quick action Friday morning

Decided to hit the woods this morning to try to shoot some pigs been having a bunch on camera. Walked down to a pinch point by the Creek before daylight seen several deer then about good shooting light here they came. There was 12 pigs. I killed this big boar, a small sow and one of her piglets. I thought 3 outa 12 wasn’t bad. Only fired 4 shots. I’ve killed some big pigs in my years of hunting but this big boy takes the cake. He was around 400 lbs. I really liking my new pig gun. 350 legend AR 15

Congrats. That is a big 'un for sure. Now comes the pork sausage and bacon for years to come.

I shot him with my 350 legend AR. it is a relatively new caliber that hit the market. I shoot 180 gr Winchester power point out if it. I love it so far. I also have a .450 Bushmaster on a AR platform that is a hog hammer too, it shoot 250 gr Hornady's. But I've been taking the 350 legend since its my newest one. Then there is always a place for the standard .223, but if I'm close quarters, I like to have a little more gun.
