Loop knot to jig or cinched down to jig eye when trolling with slip bobbers

What is the preferred method of attaching a jig to your line when trolling for crappie with slip bobbers? Loop knot or cinched down?

I personally use a loop knot for jigs at all times... whether it's single pole, pushing or pulling

I find that I will use both at different times. They both seem to work for me. I think that the loop knot gives the jig better action. Use what you feel is most comfortable to you.

If you want, let the fish tell you what they like. Set one set of rods up with loop knots and the other set tied tight. See which one the fish like best for your conditions.

Look at recent posts from Slim Jim. He has shared some valuable information on trolling for crappie with slip bobbers.
My plan is to use the slip boobers to control depth of my trolled baits as I search for the depth the crappie are feeding at. I will fish baits at various depths from bottom to top. When I start catching fish at one depth consistently, I will set all my rods at this depth. Hope this answers your question. Tight Lines. Hope to see you at the Slabfest.

A bit of clarification, I use the spring loaded fixed bobbers. I put bobber stops on my line at pre-set distances. I move the bobbers to adjust the length of line out that controls the depth of the jig. All my rods are set up the same and I just adjust the bobbers to the position that works that day.
