Used power pro hi vis in the lower pound test and was really annoyed by it. On my son’s recommendation i tried power pro green 50 # test and it is a dream to work with...have used it on bait casting and spin cast...happy with both.

Some of the cons are
1. It's bad about wrapping the end of the pole, especially in windy conditions
2. In winter it's more prone to freezing to your eyelets and the pole its self
3. It can cut your skin if you pull against it hard
Pros
1. Great sensitivity
2. No stretch so you can really lay the wood to a fish on hook set
3. No memory so it slides through the eyelets easily
I like it for deep winter fishing so I can maybe straighten out a hook instead of retying every hangup.
Also like it for fish in Iron wood bushes where I need to take up my line by pulling my jig up to the rod tip and maneuver my tip into position to let the jig down into the opening

Same as 20Watt....
I only use 50# white braid for bass fishing...hardly ever need to change it out....never had a fish break off....limp as sewing machine thread....it will cut your hand....works best on spinning reels...have to order it online, most stores don't stock it...the white color does not seem to affect the bite....this is the one I use...you can throw it a country mile...

Don’t forget to loosen your drag a bit, braided line has been known to break rods.

It’s all I fish.
If you fish a lake where the fish are deep in the winter.
It really helps with detecting bites, and setting the hook.

What 20 Watt said! Don't see how line can get wrapped around the end of a pole like braid does. It's just plain aggravating on days with just a little wind. Great sensitivity and saves time on not having to re-tie unless you break the hook.
