Just the one
Not a lot to report for me this time. I like to contribute to the New England section as much as I can though. Last summer I became too busy to fish for a couple of months and it seems this summer I fell into the same trap. Yesterday I had an opportunity to wet a line and jumped on it.
I was on the water at 6am under cloudy skies. Water temp was 70 degrees and the air temp was around 60. First cast I had a good size Crappie on but lost it. Second cast nothing. Third cast I caught one close to 12 inches. I thought to myself " great, I am on them quickly".
The next 2 hours I barely had a bite and only caught 1 small yellow perch and 2 pumpkinseed sunfish. A little after eight I decided that I would be better off going home and getting some stuff done and try it again another day.
Good to get out though. Hopefully I will try again soon. Fall can make for some nice fishing days.Attachment 384094

Looks like you caught my jinx from a couple of trips ago. Good that you got out though and hopefully, another trip is just around the corner for you and you can put the hurt on a bunch more to make up for this trip.
They can't hide from you forever!

Well spent couple of hours. Better luck on the next trip Keep up with the chances to wet a line, the cold water will be here too soon.
