It's been 6 months since we cancelled our Spring 2020 crappie camp due to the Covid crisis. During those 6 months my wife and I have been enjoying the outdoors. No better way to social distance. We have been in Oklahoma, New Mexico and Colorado. Campgrounds have been open, immaculately clean and full. We plan to continue this during the rest of the year.
Some friends from church plan to join us this month for a week or so at Pine Creek. Should be some great Oklahoma Fall weather. I just thought I would open this up to invite any of the crappie campers. If you bring your own tent or camper you control the environment. If you use the public restrooms it's easy to control germs using gloves and spray disinfectant. That's something I do anyway when using them.
We plan on being at Pine Creek about the 21st thru 27th if anyone wants to join us. There will be no planned meals, with the possible exception of a simple fish fry. Everyone can do their own food but there is no reason to not social distance around a campfire in the evenings. Boats also keep everyone apart acceptably.
Anyway, just a thought in case you want to join us. And, BTW, my GOOD honey is all gone.
