Crappie limit on Nokomis

Between about 7pm and 8:15pm I caught and released a dozen 8"-10" black crappies jigging dock shadow on Nokomis in south Minneapolis. 2# test; 1/64 bobby garland jig head; 1.25" black or white rat tail shad plastic. depth about 15' and crappies moved up from close to the bottom as it got dark. The crappies were in good plump conditions and the bite tended to be very soft. I fish C&R exclusively in the Metro. There were also a handful of nice bluegills and a couple dink yellow perch.
