Love dem Chest Huggers
Went fishing Sunday at the Bone. I got a late start, when I backed the boat in the water I couldnt get the motor to start.. so I drug it back home where I could locate the problem.. It makes you feel dumb when the trouble was the shift lever was in Reverse.. It will never crank unless it is in Neutral . I brought home two Catfish and 6 Small Bream, I probably should have thrown five of them back ---- I left the Boat hooked to the truck. I was up early and went to Sterlington and put in. it was worth the trip --- I thought I had missed the Bream spawn. The big Blue Gills were still guarding nest but there wasn't any Melt. But the Chinkepins was what I came for and the females are still full of eggs. I caught Two Shinners big enough to EAT. the small one was SEVEN INCHES and the BIG ONE WAS ALMOST ELEVEN INCHES. I was wore out when I got home and still had to clean them. 12 Big Red Ears and 16 Bull Bream, For a total of 28 that was all my fingers could do to hold on to them. they were all in Two feet of water under Cypress limbs and hit like a Freight Train. The Wife has already Retired for tonight . I will put the pictures on tomorrow

I remember one time I was bringing my son duck hunting (an hour away from the house) and I just had a bad feeling all that morning for some reason. Launched the boat and the engine wouldn't crank. Loaded the boat back on the trailer and went home. Felt bad that we didn't get to hunt but I have learned to trust my instincts on things like that. Turned out that the stater was starting to go bad. If I would have waited till it warmed up a bit it probably would have started.

The Solar Table said it was a bad day to go fishing.. I watched a Man fish in one tree top all day long using tiny Shiners, He kept 8 Crappie but they were all over a pound

Shadow -- I have been thinking about that hunting trip ... If you got it cranked that morning there is nothing saying the motor would have started after the hunt ... Trusting those feeling, has saved lives.
