Fished in rain 2 weeks ago then Unit started shutting off sporadically. Now unit won’t turn on but will turn on in other cradle. I have two units one at console and one at bow. I have narrowed it down to the mounting cradle. Both units purchased in February 2019 any known fixes for this other than buying a new cradle?
I had a friend that happened to and he contacted Garmin and I believe they replaced it for him without hassle.

Call Garmin They had trouble with them. they should replace it.

Garmin should take care of it.
You may consider adding some lithium grease to the cradle and unit to reduce potential moisture issues.
I prefer dielectric grease made for connectors, very lightly on pins and sockets, but the issue here is corrosion of PCB traces where the connector solders to the board, a known issue that Garmin should take care of, as said.

Check wires in 2d cradle?
Maybe a fuse somewhere?
