Well I have spent the last two days fishing Opossum Lake here near Carlisle. I caught nothing I was on the water for a total of 15 hrs. and only one bass that I lost right beside the kayak and it was small.. Now i did see a lot of blue gill and did run into some guys that ere Crappie fishing but they said the only thing they caught were blue gill and small catfish . half the lake is clear but the rest of it is full of weeds the bottom in some areas was around 10 feet but the top of the weeds were about 2 feet from the top of the water. I think it is going to be a long time till it is back to the way it was years ago. going to try another lake tomorrow have yet to decide which one.
